Harry McCarthy

Harry McCarthy has played guitar for 17 years and taught for the past 12 years. He has taught rock bands, helping kids of all ages and abilities to learn to play together. He was the lead singer in a touring Christian band and has opened for Tenth Avenue North. In 2015, he released his own EP titled "Abba Father" and is currently recording a new album, writing and playing all parts. He was a Knoxville finalist in the 2020 Tennessee Songwriter's Competition and played at The Bijou Theatre Songwriter's Showcase Week. He is the Director of Worship at Sycamore Tree UMC and is also the worship leader for Celebrate Recovery Maryville at FUMC. He offers lessons in guitar, bass, ukulele and can help students in their own songwriting.

Private Lessons

Scheduled for 30 minutes, once a week, students taking lessons with Harry have fun learning music theory, rhythm, and how to play.
