Guitar, Trombone, and Production Teacher
Matt Carson is a musician hailing from Knoxville, TN currently in his final year of study at Berklee College of Music. He has extensively studied aspects of the music industry such as performance, theory, composition, production, and education while in school, and he has been an active member in various music communities his entire life.
Matt has studied the guitar for 15 years with numerous teachers and has learned many additional instruments throughout the course of his musical journey that include piano, bass, mandolin, ukulele, pedal steel guitar, trombone, and euphonium. He has teaching experience through the student tutoring program at Berklee College of Music, holds a level 2 CRLA tutoring certification, and is currently taking classes to obtain his level 3 mastery certification.
As a member of five gigging and recording bands in the Boston music scene, Matt has a lot of performing experience and has worked as a paid composer, producer, instrumentalist, and music educator. He is eager to help ignite a passion for playing, understanding, and most importantly enjoying music in all of his students.
Matt offers one-on-one guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, trombone, euphonium and music production lessons. Students who work with Matt will develop a deep passion and understanding for music.
