Harold Nagge

Guitar, Violin, and Improv Teacher

As a well established musician in the Maryville and Knoxville area, Harold Nagge has taught guitar and various other instruments at area colleges for over 20 years. He has given private instruction and directed ensembles at Maryville College, Pellissippi State, and Roane State.

He has a Master’s degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from the University of Tennessee, where he studied with Jerry Coker, Donald Brown, Mark Boling, and Rusty Holloway.

Harold is versatile in various musical styles, including Jazz, Classical, Rock, Blues, and Bluegrass, and he has performed with the Oak Ridge Symphony, Symphony of the Mountains, and the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra.

Guitar Lessons

Harold offers one-on-one guitar, bass, violin, mandolin, ukulele, and improv lessons. Students who work with Harold will develop a deep passion and understanding for music.
